SRN Reviews the Piaggio BV250 Tourer
Classic urban scootering at its best

3/8/2009
 Printer friendly version

Piaggio manufactures the BV250 Tourer and it just happens to have the same 22 hp, 244cc engine as some of the Vespa models, but at a lower price. Piaggio owns Vespa. The fuel injected one-cylinder four-stroke engine also doesn't require any fuss to start it. The automatic transmission kicks right in and you're on your way.

Ken Freund test rides the BV250 Tourer.

Scooter Riders Now contributor Ken Freund test rode the BV250 Tourer and found it does best scooting all over town. While it does come with ample storage, he's not so sure he'd take this scooter on an extended journey. To read what Ken's review of this classic Italian scooter, click here.
